Privacy Policy

This policy explains how K&M Properties Inc. handles information submitted through this website. It is a working draft and will be reviewed by counsel before final publication.

Information we collect

When you request a free estimate we collect your name, phone number, project city and project type, plus anything optional you add (last name, email, best time to call, a brief description, project address, timeline, budget) and the date of submission. If you chat with Alejandra, our virtual assistant, the conversation and any contact or project details you share in it are saved so our team can follow up.

How we use it

We use this information solely to respond to your request, prepare estimates and communicate about your project. We do not sell your information.

Storage

Submissions are stored in a secured database accessible only to authorized K&M personnel and the systems required to operate this website. If you arrived through a tagged ad or QR-code link, the campaign tags in that link (such as source, medium and campaign name), the first page you visited and the referring site are saved with your request.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this site, such as pages viewed and when an estimate request is saved or a chat conversation results in saved contact details. Google's advertising signals stay off unless you accept advertising cookies.

Advertising cookies and your choice

When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept advertising cookies. Until you choose "Accept", no advertising tracking runs. If you accept, we load the ChatGPT Ads measurement pixel from OpenAI and enable Google's advertising signals. These let us measure which ads lead to free estimate requests. When an estimate request is saved, or when a chat with Alejandra saves your name and a valid phone number, one "lead created" event with a random reference is sent to OpenAI, and a matching lead event to Google Analytics. The event we send does not include your name, email, phone or project details. OpenAI's pixel may also use a click reference from the ad link, stored in a first-party cookie, to connect the request to the ad you clicked. If optional automatic matching is turned on in our OpenAI ads account, OpenAI's pixel may detect contact details entered on the page and send them in hashed (scrambled) form for ad matching; this only happens after you accept advertising cookies.

If you choose "Reject", or later change your choice to "Reject", no further advertising events are sent. The estimate form and every other part of the site work the same either way. Your choice and the date you made it are saved in your browser. You can change it at any time with "Cookie settings" in the footer.
